Description
Opens in March: Under the direction of the Lead Teacher, assist in planning developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for the child care program. Assist in implementing creative curriculum and activities; engage and facilitate play and learning throughout the day at child eye level; and participate in daily classroom routines, meal service, circle times, toileting/diapering, documentation and assessment. This position requires knowledge of child development, positive guidance techniques and ability to communicate with a diverse population of children and adults. Must pass a background check, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift and sit at child's level for extended periods of time. One year of early childhood program experience preferred. This is an on-campus State Work Study position.

Description
Great opportunity for an ERA student! Assist in installation, repairs and maintenance of all electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner. Learn to trouble-shoot all equipment being serviced. Learn to run conduit, pull wire, select proper wire/breakers for job. Become proficient in recognizing and correcting electrical defects. Perform some millwright duties. Must be a Washington state resident, enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits at CC, and eligible for financial aid with an unmet need. Job location: SWS business partner in Centralia.
